Ok, so the family invasion is way over, but I have more!Here's nephew E outrunning a gigantic eraser! Is that exciting or what?!
We spent the Monday following Easter with a trip to the National Mall, the National Gallery of Art and its outdoor Sculpture Garden.
The picture here is at the Sculpture Garden. The nephew thought it would be fun to pretend to run away from it. He was right!
The next stop was the National Gallery of Art, where the niece and nephew were going to go on a scavenger hunt! I tried to find info on the gallery's web site, but couldn't find a link. The best thing to do is go to their site and search on "scavenger hunt". They have scavenger hunts by age. Its kinda cool and you can print it prior to going to the gallery or pick it up at their information area.
The kids loved it. They both found all but one of their paintings. The personnel were very friendly and asked if they could help us find the paintings. As it turned out the paintings were cycled out of display.
All the same the kids loved it.
Apparently, the nephew caught me taking a pic and made a face!
